--- abstract: 'Sebaceous gland carcinoma of the eyelid is a very rare, slow growing tumor arising from the meibomian glands. In contrast to squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma which arise frequently from the lower lid, sebaceous carcinoma arises from the upper lid where meibomian glands are more numerous. We present a case of sebaceous carcinoma in an elderly lady who presented with a slow growing tumor in the lateral third of the lower lid, without any lymph node metastasis. The tumor was treated by wide excision and the eyelid was reconstructed by Tenzel semilunar flap.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue46/2013-2-16.html chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - ajayrkamath@yahoo.com - ~ - ~ - ~ creators_name: - family: Kamath given: AR honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Kamath given: MM honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Kamath given: GM honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Nayak given: MA honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2013-08-25 date_type: published datestamp: 2014-02-25 12:42:21 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/91/64 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - Kakkilaya BS editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 9164 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/9164/1/2013-2-16.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: ~ item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Sebaceous carcinoma; Lower lid malignancy; Reconstruction of lid; Tenzel semilunar flap lastmod: 2014-02-25 12:42:21 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 2(16) pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: Kakkilaya BS refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tNi C, Kou PK.
