--- abstract: "Psychological spaces give natural framework for construction of mental representations. Neural model of psychological spaces provides a link between neuroscience and psychology. Categorization performed in high-dimensional spaces by dynamical associative memory models is approximated with low-dimensional feedforward neural models calculating probability density functions in psychological spaces. Applications to the human categorization experiments are discussed. \n\n" altloc: [] chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: 'October 27-30,1998' conference: International Conference on Neural Networks and Brain confloc: 'Beijing, China' contact_email: ~ creators_id: [] creators_name: - family: Duch given: Wlodzislaw honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 1998 date_type: published datestamp: 2000-08-02 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/09/15 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: ~ edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: [] editors_name: [] eprint_status: archive eprintid: 915 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/915/1/98pekin.pdf|/style/images/fileicons/text_html.png;/915/5/98pekin.html full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: 'Psychological spaces, mental representations, Neural models, categorization in psychology, associative memory, mind models.
