--- abstract: 'Epitheloid angiomyolipoma of kidney is a type of Perivascular endothelial cell derived tumor with an aggressive behaviour with specific pathological, immunohistochemistrical and genetic characteristics. They can occur in a pure form or in assosciation with classical angiomyolipoma. It can be assosciated with tuberous sclerosis in 50% of cases. Our case is a possible case of tuberous sclerosis with epitheloid angiomyolipoma, hepatic angiomyolipoma and lymphangioleiomyomatosis with normal MRI brain and no cutaneous features. Radical nephrectomy with biopsy of hepatic lesion was performed. Histopathological examination revealed epitheloid variant with features of angiomyolipoma. It is six months post surgery and patient is doing well with no evidence of recurrence. Epitheloid angiomyolipoma is a rare malignancy with only 120 cases reported in literature.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue44/2012-4-18.html chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - vasureddyc@gmail.com - ~ - ~ - ~ - ~ creators_name: - family: Challa given: VR honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Swamyvelu given: K honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Amirtham given: U honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Rangappa given: P honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Goud given: BYG honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2013-01-25 date_type: published datestamp: 2013-05-04 23:09:51 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/89/47 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - Kakkilaya BS editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 8947 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/8947/1/2012-4-18.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: ~ item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Epitheloid angiomyolipoma; Tuberous sclerosis; Hepatic angiomyolpoma; Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis. lastmod: 2013-05-04 23:09:51 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 4(18) pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: Kakkilaya BS refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tNese N, Martignoni G, Fletcher CD, Gupta R, Pan CC, et al Pure epithelioid PEComas (so-called epithelioid angiomyolipoma) of the kidney: A clinicopathologic study of 41 cases: detailed assessment of morphology and risk stratification.
