--- abstract: 'Penetrating trauma can be commonly caused by sharp objects. We report a case of penetrating injury of abdomen caused by a fairly large sized stone which is used for sharpening the objects or weapons. It pierced through the abdominal wall musculature and caused ileal transection, mesenteric tear and gastric perforation.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue43/2012-3-6.htm chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - cmahakalkar@rediffmail.com - ~ - ~ - ~ creators_name: - family: Mahakalkar given: CC honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Kamble given: AT honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Kaple given: MN honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Baitha given: K honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2012-10-25 date_type: published datestamp: 2013-05-04 23:07:42 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/89/16 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - Kakkilaya BS editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 8916 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/8916/1/2012-3-6.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: ~ item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Penetrating trauma; Stone; Ileal transection; Gastric perforation lastmod: 2013-05-04 23:07:42 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 3(6) pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: Kakkilaya BS refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tEngland RJ, Dalton R, Walker J.
