--- abstract: 'Schwannomas affect mainly head, neck and flexor aspect of the limbs. Axillary Schwannoma is extremely uncommon, that is neurogenic tumors arising from brachial plexus are rare. We report one such rare case of a solitary axillary Schwannoma which was diagnosed on fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) and subsequently confirmed by histopathological examination. Clinically it was diagnosed as axillary lymphadenopathy and FNAC was advised to rule out granulomatous lymphadenitis.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue37/2011-1-20.htm chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - drdhirajnikumbh@rediffmail.com - ~ - ~ - ~ - ~ creators_name: - family: Nikumbh given: DB honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Janugade given: HB honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Mali given: RK honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Madan given: PS honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Wader given: JV honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2011-04-15 date_type: published datestamp: 2011-12-28 02:56:55 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/78/33 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - BS Kakkilaya editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: ~ eprint_status: archive eprintid: 7833 fileinfo: application/pdf;http://cogprints.org/7833/1/2011%2D1%2D20.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: ~ item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Schwannoma; Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) lastmod: 2011-12-28 02:56:55 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 1 pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: BS Kakkilaya refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tChiapasco M, Roachi P, Scola G.
