--- abstract: 'We report the case of a 35 year old women who developed a complex paranoid delusion during the course of clomiphene treatment für ovulation. The psychopathology was remarkable, because after a short hypomanic period the patient was without severe cognitive disturbance but struggled with a complex monothematic delusion. The delusion vanished in the course of a combination treatment with olanzapine a cognitive behavioral therapy. We could not entirely rule out the possibility of an endogenous psychiatric disease but nevertheless we encountered an unusual monothematic delusion which showed a strong temporal correlation with the intake of clomiphene. We provide some speculation about underlying neurobiological mechanisms on the basis of the dopamine theory of delusion.' altloc: [] chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: [] creators_name: - family: Grimm given: Oliver honourific: Dr. lineage: '' - family: Hubrich given: Petra honourific: Dr. lineage: '' date: 2006-01 date_type: published datestamp: 2006-01-21 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/47/10 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: ~ edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: [] editors_name: [] eprint_status: archive eprintid: 4710 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/text_plain.png;/4710/2/Delusional_Belief_induced_by_clomiphene_treatment.txt|/style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/4710/3/Delusional_Belief_induced_by_clomiphene_treatment.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: ~ issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: 'estrogene clomiphene psychosis delusion ' lastmod: 2011-03-11 08:56:20 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: ~ pagerange: ~ pubdom: FALSE publication: ~ publisher: ~ refereed: FALSE referencetext: |- Arvin, M., Fedorkova, L., Disshon, K.
