Abstract

In this paper we report progress on software for evaluating computer interfaces for the purposes of procurement. The software takes a description of the interface to be evaluated and outputs metrics describing the consistency of the interface. The metrics are determined by automatically constructing a Task-Action Grammar from a manual description. We illustrate the evaluation tool with examples of evaluations of abbreviation structures and syntactic/semantic alignment.
